Good
questions.

One character, or everyone?

Each character is $4, once. Everyone is $19, once: all six today and every new one we make, starting with Intern. Buying singles first? Once they add up to $19, everyone unlocks on its own, so you never pay more than $19.

How does unlocking work?

Pay in your browser. The “You’re in” page opens Spritefolk and your folk unlock. No account, no sign-in. On a new Mac, choose Restore purchases in Spritefolk and use the same email.

Is it safe to install?

Yes. It's signed with a Developer ID and notarized, so Apple checked it for malware before you downloaded it.

Will it slow my Mac down?

It's a native Swift app. Only the character on your desktop is awake, and it sleeps when you hide it.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. One download works on both.

Does it collect my data?

No. The app has no analytics. It only checks for updates and, once you buy, your licence. Pump reads your AI usage and Dhiru reads running apps. Both stay on your Mac.

What does Pump need?

Claude Code or Codex on this Mac. Pump reads their local usage files, so it can't see chats you have in a browser.

How do I update?

Spritefolk checks for updates once a day and asks before installing one. Your characters and settings stay.

How do I remove it?

Quit Spritefolk and drag it to the Trash. That's it; nothing else runs in the background.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, in full, within 14 days. Email hello@spritefolk.com with the email you paid with. Refund policy.

Can I have more than one character?

You can have all of them. One lives on your desktop at a time, so it stays calm. Swap with a right-click.
